Hello,
We have been loyal HAL Cruisers the decade or so and have always been quite happy with the ships, the service, the food and our accommodations. We decided to try a Caribbean Cruise to get away for the Xmas and New Years holidays. The food was still fabulous but we noticed other things that seemed to be lacking compared to previous experiences. I know it's just a little thing, but we sure missed those carpets in the elevators that say what day of the week wqs.
The real problem on this cruise was the plumbing. We could not flush our toilets on 2 mornings and many many of the public restrooms were out of order on the 2nd and 3rd levels where the restaurants and bars all are. This was an ongoing issue. Women were lined up and then running around looking for a facility that worked.

We live near FT Lauderdale so just stayed on ship day between cruises...we were on two back to back. Had to disembark for customs, but it was quick and painless.
Half Moon Cay
Nice Private Island...visited twice. Better when just one ship is in the harbor.
