We were on the 14 day Xmas & New Year Volendam Cruise 2015/2016. Started off with 3 nights Hotel stay at the Orchard Parade Hotel, Singapore, this was centrally situated with easy walk to shops and restaurants. We had transfer to Singapore Harbourfront Dock and a very easy and quick embarkation. We were pleased with our Balcony Cabin and the Cabin crew were marvellous. I did feel that there could have been more Craft and fun things to do on Sea days. The service we received was very good.

The Tours we chose were extremely good with English speaking tour guides and good food at restaurants we visited, having said this, we did have a problem with one of our Tours, being that the description of the tour given on the ship was not what our Tour Guide was going to give us, but after some conversations with all on bus he adjusted it. It would pay to confirm that the walking involved is within your limits.

We found the dining good in the Rottendam Restaurant, we waited approximately 15 minutes for a table at open dining usually around 7.45pm. Disembarkation was quick and easy. Holland America did a great job with the Christmas entertainment & decorations, and the New Year celebrations with Chinese Dragon were fantastic. A Good Experience.
