We are on our honeymoon and have made a terrible mistake booking princess cruises to help us celebrate it.

First impressions of our boat sapphire princess was that it is dated and in need of some serious work to bring it up to speed. With so many great cruising choices in this day and age this is enough a reason to avoid princess cruises.

We have experienced dated venues in our previous travels that have offered an underlying culture or heart beat that is so infectious you see below the surface and relish in a beautiful experience. In fact, dated venues usually try harder to please, to make up for their initial shortcomings. We wish we could say this for princess cruises but unfortunately we can't.
