Sail Date: Dec 2015

After doing 22 previous cruises in the past, and not having any complaints, our latest two cruises being on the Explorer of the Seas over the last two months, included the end sector of it's relocation to Sydney and the Christmas New Year cruise.

This was our first cruise on this class of ship and also our first Christmas Cruise, we found it not easy to get around compared to other ships we have been on, and inside lounges were insufficient and all quite dark except for the Viking Crown Lounge. The Promenade is generally dark and crowded with passengers together with tables and chairs, which also makes this difficult for walking through.

Christmas day was a FIZZER with no Christmas activities except for Santa Clause for the children, there was no special Christmas dinner to make it feel like Christmas.
