the ship itself is very nice, i liked the ports, the excursions, the coffee card, the soda package, the production shows are good, other performers were good, getting on and off was no problem, the buffet served our needs, our inside cabin was fine, decent size, the gym was good
the big negative factor is the quality of the food in the dining room. we had late seating in the boticelli dining room. my wife eats healthy , she ordered the chicken breast which we figured would be a nce healthy grilled dish. when it came out, there was a small bone attached so right away i knew there was an issue. the chicken tasted like it was boiled, it actually had no taste. there were exactly 4 pieces of vegetables on it even though my wife asked for all vegetables. we asked for the head waiter who eventually obtained a larger dish of vegetables and every night thereafter, we had as many vegetables as we could eat courtesy of the head waiter, Miro who was very nice.
my wife decided to try the fish dishes which were generally of poor quality. i am a meat and potatoes person so my meals were better but not wow better.
i was on the aloha deck in the fornt of the ship, the size of the cabin was fine, it was fairly close to the elevator and just 2 flights under the pool deck.
we stayed in anaheim and went to disney land before the cruise. we then took uber to the ship, it was around 45 dollars, much cheaper than a taxi. its about a 40 minute ride
we did not do a tour becasue we did not want to go to a beach, it was very hot. there is shopping right off the ship and you can walk across the ship to more shops. this is the type of port if you dont do water sports, sleep late, walk around downtown and come back to the ship
