Balcony the size of the wardrobe if not smaller!

Royal Princess Cruise Review by Kaldore

Trip Details
  • Sail Date: Dec 2015
  • Destination: the Eastern Caribbean
  • Cabin Type: Mini-Suite with Balcony

I never had a balcony so small. It was furnished with 2 chairs, 2 stools and a table which left about 1 square foot to walk. I finally moved the table inside the cabin and left a stool under a chair. We both shared one stool. This way we could at least get in and out of the balcony without having to climb over the furniture and the other person. There is no way that we would have the "Ultimate balcony dinner" on that boat.

The room service was good and he did what he could to help us when we had a problem with the shower. Looks like cold water was not available in our cabin and the water temperature in the shower was so hot that you could not stay under the shower for more than 5 seconds.

Food quality was not to par with what we are used to on Princess ships.

Alfredo pizzeria was great and we had lunch there a couple of times.

The Seafood restaurant also offered good quality food.

Overall service was good.

I would go back on a Princess Cruise but not sure that I would do it on the Royal Princess

Cabin Review

Mini-Suite with Balcony
Cabin MB B325

Nice cabin, appreciated the drape between the bed and the sitting room. Balcony way to small

Port & Shore Excursion Reviews

Antigua

Lobster dinner cruise. Nice tour but expensive as most of the excursions were. The catamaran was very good and the crew gave good service.

St. Lucia

motor catamaran no sails, music loud and no place to get away from it. The snorkeling was nice.

Turtle Swim

Nice catamaran ride. The turtles were still swimming away in the ocean but the water was nice. The stop at the beach was great and you could swim to the reef to do some nice snorkeling.
