Sail Date: Dec 2015
Cabin: Verandah Stateroom

We sailed from Rio to Valparasio. We had previously sailed on the Marina 4 years ago during the summer of her maiden year. The ship is in excellent shape with beautiful art work and tasteful decor. We can't say enough about the Crew, everyone from the cabin stewards, dining staff, baristas, reception desk and Canyon Ranch Spa staff were exceptional helpful, friendly and could not do enough to make the trip enjoyable.

The food was very good with many selections, excellent presentations and enjoyable venues. The lectures on South America were informative and enjoyable. Much of the entertainment was enjoyable especially the Tango performers, the classical guitarist, a lovely singer from England and a classical pianist. The string quartet was a lovely to enjoy before or after dinner.

Satisfaction with the tours depended on the guides. When we travel with Oceania again we will try booking our own small group tours and compare. Oceania was a wonderful way to experience the coastal towns of Patagonia and the Straits of Magellan.

Cabin Review

Verandah Stateroom

Cabin B2

Love the balconies, wish the closet area was more like Princess providing more space for hanging clothes. Would prefer a room with no bathtub and a larger step in shower.
