Sail Date: Dec 2015

We travelled o a back-to-back cruise over Christmas and New Year period. The first part was 9 days from Barcelona to the Canary Islands and back to Barcelona, the second part was from Barcelona to Italy and back finally again to Barcelona.

We have cruised previously with Princess and we preferred the cabins on the Epic as there was so much storage space and the separate large shower were superb.

The food in both the included main restaurants Taste and Manhattan was first class and very varies over the whole 15 days.

Cabin Review

Inside

Cabin IE

Cleverly designed spacious cabin with bags of storage.

Loved the large shower and the separate loo arrangement.

The bed was very comfortable.

Housekeeping staff were very good.

Port Reviews

Rome (Civitavecchia)

Very expensive for a tour that was not that worthwhile

Barcelona

Superb city, we visited the Nou Camp, Montjuic and the Gaudis Apartments on our own.

Tenerife

We hired a txi to take us to Mount Teidi this was superb.

Malaga

We made our own way to the Caves at Nerja. This was great, however you need to make sure that you leave the bus at the Caves stop.

Naples

You can easily make your own way to Pompeii using the Tram and Train for less than 5 Euros each way.

Palma de Mallorca (Majorca)

Once again you can easily get the local bus into Palma. The cathedral is breathtaking!
