We arrived in Barcelona on Thursday prior to the cruise. We stayed at Rivoli Ramblas, right on the Ramblas. Great location. We used the double decker tour bus to see Barcelona. We did spend most of our free time on the Ramblas having tapas and cocktails.

We boarded the ship on Saturday, arrived at the port around 1:00 pm. The boarding was painless and our balcony cabin was ready when we boarded. There was more room in this cabin then we needed....lots of storage space.

I am a googleholic. I researched everything about this cruise. The most helpful was the Cruise Critic, which in turn made me want to give back. There were four of us in our party. We decided to hire a private car for most of the ports. I interviewed three car services and decided to hire "info@driverguideservice.com" Ivano Di Iacovo is the owner.
