Don't ignore the moaners. What they say is valid and it is your choice to believe them or otherwise. Make sure you are not taken in by P&O's TV and Radio advertising it's not as good as they would have you believe. Some things were OK, some things terrible.

Embarking and disembarking were straightforward although embarking was hampered by weather (strong winds) . The ship is not well laid out. To get from the 9th deck to 5th deck required two lifts and a walk.

There were frequent leaks from pipework in the ceiling of deck 9 requiring buckets to be placed under them (sometimes for a couple of days) and at times there was more than a hint of mildew.

Cabin Review

Balcony Stateroom with Shower

Cabin JB

The cabin was adequate and the beds comfortable. The balcony was rather rusty in places and the woodwork had lost most of its varnish. Four times my key card stopped working and I had to go to reception for a replacement (I kept the card clear of electronic devices).
