Sail Date: Dec 2015
Cabin: Large Ocean View Stateroom
Traveled with children

First time on Radiance and it is a nice ship but is tired and needs to tidy up. Broken furniture in lounges and cracked floor tiles are common. The thick growth on the hull below the waterline (visible from the tender) was another indication that a dry dock and spruce up is needed.

Bar service was good, some bar tenders better than others. Dinner in the MDR was overwhelming crowded, noisy and service was nothing more than adequate. Add whistles to the tables on NYE and it was torture. Ended up paying for speciality dining or going to the buffet for some peace over dinner.

Cabin was small, especially for a quad, smallest I have ever stayed in. Shower was suitable for someone the size of a pretzel only. I found myself wedged against 2 walls trying to wash myself.

Cabin Review

Large Ocean View Stateroom

Cabin G

Small.

Shower was tiny but suited the room which seems top be smaller than other ships.

Tip: if 4 people, get the queen bed split, it give much more room to move about the cabin

Port Reviews

Champagne Bay (Vanuatu)

Take a tour with a local to the blue lagoon. Worth the effort. Ride may be on the back of a ute (pickup).

Mare

Make sure you pre purchase transfers to Yjele beach. Best beach I have seen.
