When looking at cruises on NCL web site, it came with 4 free offers. When I called to book. whoop No. I booked 30 to 31 days prior to sailing. No free offers even if the web site said there was. Ok, not a deal breaker for me. My issues started on the ship itself.
1) We were celebrating husbands BDAY. Booking agent said he would have a cake in his room for the occasion. Not so, I asked the room steward about it, he knew nothing and brought a cheap card saying happy BDAY stamped from the captain. Went to customer service on a couple of occasions for items below and they knew nothing and were not helpful at all.
2) Booking agent and photos of ship/room said we would have a seating area in our balcony cabin with couch that pulled out into sofa bed for my son who was with us. Again not so, he slept on a tiny bed hanging from the wall at the foot of our bed with a ladder that came down into the tiny walkway, turn on a light if you need to get up in the middle of the night or you will face plant walking past it. Again customer service people just said "I will ask how your cabin it set up". That's it.. Nothing else.
Bathroom flooded every time we took showers, Not wet FLOODED. 2 to 3 inches of water. We went to the steward b/c it was getting into the room. He said its ok, no big deal. Maybe not to him but we ended up cleaning it ourselves every day just to keep it out of the room. We asked for a mop to help with the water but he wouldn't give us one, had to use towels. Nice vacation huh? Cleaning the bathroom everyday. I wish I could upload my pictures of it so you can see for yourself.
Small but nice.
Very pushy for tips. Guide would not leave me alone and I had to zipline with him the whole way.
This was a great tour. It was fun even with very choppy water.
Pretty neat but we were rushed since our ship had issues with paperwork that would not allow people off the ship for 2 hours. Neat but not worth the price.
I loved this the most. I really wanted the pictures they took of my family with the dolphins but at $30 a picture....who could afford that.
