My husband & I decided not to sit home for once on New Years Eve. We booked the Imagination for a 3 day cruise to Mexico. It did not disappoint. We paid a little extra for "Faster to the Fun" which got us in a shorter line to check in and our room was ready when we boarded just after 12. We had a outside room cabin U148. It was plenty of room for the amount of time we were in there. The bed was very comfortable.

The food in the buffet was just OK while the evening meals in the dining room were exceptional but the service was quite slow. Easy off and on in Ensenada. My husband loves to gamble but I found the smoke impossible for me to be in the casino. The casino and adjoining bar is the only place inside the ship where smoking was permissible so smokers made the casino intolerable. There was a small corner designinated for non smoking but The signs were ignored.

There was a great New Years Eve party poolside for the countdown with a live band. We indulged in a Couples massage and it was one of the best we have ever had. Bingo was a little pricy for the number of games you got to play. Maybe just sour grapes we didn't win. Lots of kids on this cruise but most were well behaved. Disembarking was a breeze. We decided to carry off our own luggage and we're off the boat and through Customs in a matter of minutes. I would definitely take this cruise again. With the exception of the drink prices it was a good bargain for the money.

Cabin 6C

Not sure what category my cabin is in. It was towards the back of the ship on the Upper Deck (6) but have no complaints. The beds were very comfy and enough room for 2 for the amount of time we spent in there.
