Ok I read all the reviews, I really wanted to see Aruba and since most lines don't sail there I was willing to over look any negative comments by saying you cant please everyone and by owning an insurance agency I realize that some people are impossible to please . I have sailed Carnival twice Rcl twice Msc once , and I've always wanted to try Princess.(love boat and all)

I would have given this ship 4 stars because the steward was great, the buffet service was excellent food was also good, they had one good show in 8 days , movies under the starts was a nice feature , Specialty coffees were great, drinks were decent and ports amazing! The rub on this ship was the arrogance of the hostesses at both anytime dining options. Amazingly rude , even mocked me in front of passengers because I couldn't wait another half hour after standing in line nearly an hour . When I complained about her to the staff at customer service , they had me fill out a card which I did , no response at all in 7 days . Front desk is a train wreck also. Not even usual customer service general apology .

My wife an I tried making reservations to avoid the hassle. We tried at the restaurant it self , impossible they said call from your room phone. The front desk, impossible go your room and call , called many times from room , no answer ,one time they answered and said reservations were full. It was like a hidden camera show. I came to the conclusion that they people who should be the most trained at handling customers at choice interaction points simply don't care if you repeat with the line or not. They lower tier staff should be running this ship they were all excellent
