No one should have to go through this. My husband and I booked this cruise the beginning of March. We thought we were getting a room with a door between my sister-in-law's room and ours, $300 onboard credit, dinner for 2 at a specialty restaurant and a free spa treatment. The 3 other couples traveling with us were given the same incentives.

The travel agent used the debit card we used to pay the deposit, for the entire amount of the cruise (without authorization from us). Royal Caribbean suggested we change our cards because he had the numbers on file. This was a huge headache. We had paid twice for the cruise (once with our debit card and once with our American Express card) one week before the final payment was due Sept 29.

Nov 4, Royal Caribbean canceled the cruise and our air fare and was going to charge us nearly $1000 for canceling, told us the cruise had not been paid for on time. After dealing with a rude resolution specialist, for 4 hours, we had a room and our flights back. We did end up paying more for the same vacation, the gratuities increased from March to November, and we kept the travel insurance they added to the second booking, costing more than $200 for the same trip. Royal Caribbean offered a cheese tray and bottle of wine for our room upon arrival for the trouble. I informed the travel agent that was not enough for what I had gone through.
