We had a lovely 10 day cruise out of Brisbane on the Legend of the Seas & I must admit prior to boarding I had some concerns about cruising for 10 nights (especially after reading quite a few negative reviews). I was more than pleasantly surprised.

We boarded in our home town of Brisbane & as we had a Junior Suite (8580) we were pleasantly surprised by priority boarding. From the time we were dropped off by our taxi we were on the ship in under 45 minutes.

My partner & I had decided to take his 11 year old son on a holiday as he has just finished primary school. We looked at many options but decided on the cruise due to the large number of activities available & the very reasonable cost.

We had a great cabin; it was quiet & very well maintained.

Our balcony was quite large, with 2 lounge recliners + 2 chairs & a small table.

I found it was quiet and out of the wind and was very pleased we had a balcony room.

We did find one morning the balcony was covered in soot; it was cleaned very quickly and really didn't limit us in using it at all.
