Leaving out of NYC is amazing the breakaway cruise past Manhattan past the World Trade Center and finally right beside Lady Liberty. This ships rockin' the drinks are flowing it's a departure like no other cruise. (Makes you feel nostalgic for the good ole USA)

I'm just getting around to writing about the Breakaway. I have been on NCL in the past and enjoy the freestyle concept of cruising. We generally ate at the buffet for breakfast and lunch and a speciality restaurant for dinner. The buffet albeit busy was full of options and various cooking stations. They all compare on each ship with the exception of LeBistro as it was one the best meals I've ever had cruising.

My favorite thing on this ship was the open concept of bars and restaurants on the boardwalk.

Cabin Review

Balcony Stateroom

Tiny tiny balconies. Had to have it re-cleaned upon embarkation.

Port Reviews

New York (Manhattan)

Easy to find transfer to from LaGuardia easy and cheap. Arrange this through NCL to insure Guarantees.

Great Stirrup Cay

Too big a ship for such a small island with lots of rocks. Long lines at all service locations.

Nassau

Most relaxing day I've ever had on a cruise. We took a short boat to this private island. Food was included with large portions and friendly people. There are hammocks and loungers throughout the island. I found one hanging between two Palm trees and fell asleep for hours. We shopped A little downtown and the port itself feels very unkept.

Orlando (Port Canaveral)

Nice beach didn't feel hurried.
