Waiters leaned across you in the other restaurants

No silver service in any restaurant, the food arrived plated, this and the menu description of the baked Alaska is not a complaint but isn't 5 star and contributed to a feeling that things were being dumbed down

Buffet dining - food good and plentiful but repetitive

There was a lack of detail in all the restaurants and buffet - no food carvings or ice sculpture as there is on other cruise ships , not a problem but not 5 star

Entertainment - the most popular area seemed to be the 'pub' which was just like weather spoons, plus gaming / slot machines.Have cruised with Cunard, Princess and MSC and felt P & O, on their newest ship couldn't fail to be the best way to achieve this

Had a great holiday but Brittannia disappoints , it shouldn't portray itself as a 5 star cruise

In summary there seemed to be a lack of attention to detail and quality plus a bit of an 'it will do ' attitude

Remember this was a new ship less than 12 months old

Lots of good things, 

Embarkation and Disembarkation - efficient and without problem

Room - lovely, spacious very comfortable

  shower head was dirty but replaced when I pointed this out

   Build up of mildew on glass shelves in shower area

Balcony - spacious with comfortable furniture

Restaurants - unfortunately like canteens, possibly a change of lighting would help one of them was reminiscent of the canteen in British Home Stores.
