We didn't know what to expect when we read reviews on here and there were certainly some complainers onboard but we gave them a wide birth! We loved our cruise. Embarkation only took about an hour in all. The private transfers were organised by our travel agent but the taxi driver dangerously texted while driving and also dropped a case!

Once on the ship we had the first of many delicious meals onboard. As I write this (day 6) I haven't had one meal I didn't thoroughly enjoy. We haven't needed to eat in a speciality restaurant as the complimentary ones are excellent. All the food seems very tasty and authentic to whichever nationality it comes from.

Entertainment is also good. As soon as we had got onboard, after eating we went to get tickets for every day for all the shows as we don't gamble so enjoy live entertainment. We enjoyed graffiti classics who made classical music amusing showing great talent along the way. We didn't stay for all of the 4 Stations set as its not really our thing - there was only 3 as one off sick but I don't think that deterred them played any part in us not liking it. Pricilla Queen of the Desert was just excellent! The costumes, the choreography and sets were just top notch and definitely West End quality. Soul Satisfaction were also a delight and very close to the originals. They had many of us clapping and dancing in the aisles by the end!

Cabin Review

Spa Mini-Suite with Balcony

Cabin M9

Sea days were spent resting in the spa. We had a spa mini suite so had access included in the room rate. There was some confusion about how much access one got with these suites when I read reviews before we arrived. I think I can clear this up! The mini suites are very close to the spa reception so very handy to just walk a few steps in bathrobe. There is no outside hours access just during normal spa opening hours while we were there it was 8am-11pm on the majority of days.

The suite was amazing and we had no issues with the unusual set up. I am not sure if the mini suites are a little bigger but there seemed loads of room and an excessive amount of storage! If sharing with your spouse there should be no issue with 'seeing the outline' of the person using the loo or shower and anyway if offended- why look?!

There are toilets nearby in the fitness area if you really want to be private!

RIcardo our cabin steward was fabulous and helpful.

We had continental breakfast in the room a few times which is complimentary and a pleasant way to start an early port day. We also used the laundry service and filled a bag for €19.95 very good service and worth it so I went home with clean clothes!
