My family and I booked the Norwegian Escape almost nine months in advance, so we had plenty of time to read reviews and prepare for our trip. To be honest we were a little worried after reading several negative reviews about the Escape. I have cruised a total of six times- Disney Magic, Disney Dream, Norwegian Sun, Norwegian Dawn, Norwegian Getaway and now Escape. I can honestly say every negative review was outrageously silly compared to our amazing trip!

On the Escape I found that I preferred staying on the ship more than going onto the islands! So much to do every single minute of your cruise! My brother and I did the ropes course twice and loved it! A little scary but very fun and much bigger than the Getaways course! We played mini-golf and bocci ball - great mini golf course! The pool area was a bit crowded on sea days but no more than any other cruise deck i've been on! Great pool and plenty of chairs and hot tubs- one thing I did notice was a lot of children in the hot tubs even with the "Adult only'" sign. This seemed to be a problem on the parents part and not cruise staff- watched several parents urge their children in. Read more
