This was the worst cruise I have ever been on, P & O are now going down hill. The only reason I gave this one tick is that the cabin (a full suite) was not too bad, mainly because the balcony was huge, the room though is no where near as large as the suites on the old Dawn, plus they have a shower over the bath, personally I feel it is time the ships got rid of the baths as they are dangerous and you cannot shower properly in them without drenching the bathroom.

Other than that the food was atrocious, it was very obviously recycled into terrines and other foods, e.g in the Waterfront, I had baked ham, roast potatoes, with vegetables which were left over black beans mixed in with other gooey concoctions. Someones idea of what we eat is weird. The Pantry is a joke, instead of tables and chairs it looks like a kids schoolroom, with benches, stools and couches!!!! Never enough room to sit. The food was monotonous, the only highlights were the roasts. The Grill which you pay for was ok for hamburgers and hotdogs.

All sauces were tomato based and very watered down, in fact horrible. The first day on board all the beef sandwiches were mouldy and had to be removed. The pastries were dry and hard, think they are budgeting by using less butter? Or none at all. The entertainment was boring, the guitarist in the Casino Lounge was woeful to the extent after 10 days it was empty. The Combo Band in the Blue Room were very good and ended up crowding out the small area, there was a lack of good entertainment. Not even afternoon tea unless you order it in your cabin.
