A vacation is only as enjoyable as you make it. While on board the MSC Orchestra, I felt like vacationers were going out of their way to be unhappy and complain. We had a fantastic time aboard the Orchestra, with the only downfall being the often rude vacationers.

The most important thing to keep in mind is that the Orchestra is a European ship. Therefore, they do NOT do things the "American" way. Announcements are made in multiple languages, Italian, and German being some of them. The majority, if not all the staff are not from North America, and do not speak English as their first language. However, communication was never a problem, in fact, we had long conversations with the employees in English.

Embarkation was well organized and simple. We were greeted with a welcoming buffet on the ship by noon, and had our luggage in our rooms just after 1:00pm. At that time, we met our room attendant, who was helpful and hard working the entire week, providing us with fresh towels twice daily, fruit, ice and lovely accommodations during our cruise.
