Cabin: Deluxe Ocean View with Balcony 2B

We have been on many Celebrity ships and this was our 2nd time on the Millennium. From the moment we stepped on this ship we were constantly pestered for visits to other restaurants, drinks packages and spa treatments (all of which are at extra cost). Drinks were extremely expensive - one bottle of wine cost us £46. The ship is looking very tired and there is a lack of decent pieces of artwork around the ship. On the plus side we found all the junior staff extremely friendly and helpful - we saw very little of the senior officers around the ship. Activities were OK although one now has to pay for Zumba classes.

This cruise docks a long way from the ports of call except for Halong Bay and trips are very pricey. Maps of the ports were not distributed on this cruise. The new cruise terminal in Hong Kong is miles from anywhere - the other one was so convenient.

The cabin was a good size but the balcony rails were rusty.

Cabin Review

Deluxe Ocean View with Balcony 2B

Cabin 2B

Cabin was ok but looking a little tired. Wardrobe door didn't close properly. Balcony flooded when it rained - a blocked drain further up caused this. Balcony railings were rusty. Cabin steward was excellent.

Port Reviews

Singapore

Excellent port of call. Used the metro to visit gardens at the bay at night - fabulous.

Visited the botanical gardens again by metro which were also excellent.
