Like many others, I read the reviews and had some concerns. To start, we arrived in Miami from San Diego the night before the cruise. We have been on 3 NCL cruises before, 2 RC, and 2 Carnival. To start, we arrived at the cruise terminal at about 11:30AM and were on the ship within minutes - no lines at all.
We took a chance this cruise and got an AFT cabin 14104. We usually cruise mid ship but figured since the ship was so large we wouldn't notice it and we didn't. Our cabin steward Goody was great - not invasive but very responsive. Our cabin had a window and the room was comfortable for the two of us.
My favorite was the entertainment on the ship - Dueling pianos, comedy, sing alongs with Carlos, Million Dollar Quarter, and the fabulous Brat Pack show. One negative for me about the Brat Pack was the food. They seafood and beef and I am allergic to seafood. They made sure to accommodate me but the food was poor. Show was fantastic! Maybe eat before you go.
Great! See above!
