This is not my first cruise, but it is my first time on the Valor. I was traveling with a group of 8 of us. We opted for the late dining. Normally, this would be no problem. However, there were several problems. The dining room was pink...too pink, nauseatingly pink. It was also set up horribly. If you weren't in the middle of the dining room or on the inner edge of the upper level, you could not see any of the entertainment in the dining room. Also, most of the shows or major activities occurred during the late dining. On the cruises I have been on in the past, during early dining, the shows would be put on for the late diners, and during late diners, the early diners could go to the show. The shows were done twice, not only once. A few nights we didn't go to the dining room because we wanted to see a show, or participate in something else that was only occurring at that time.

Other than the above, everything else was as good as any of the other cruises. We enjoyed ourselves and had a great time!

Decent location. The only downside would be when the doors to the pool deck were opened and the noise from the pool deck would radiate down the hall and into the rooms.
