Sail Date: Dec 2015

Having cruised with Thomsons on numerous occasions & on all their ships (except the Discovery ) we were looking forward to our trip on the Majesty, we were however a little disappointed! We travelled independently & the check in & embarkation process was horrendous, which is an entirely different story!

I will start with the plus points, the ship although tired is extremely clean, the staff are very friendly & nothing is too much trouble & the entertainment was fabulous! Breakfast was very good with everything you could have wanted!

The minus points, we had an outside standard cabin, which was the smallest cabin I have ever seen & would be more suitable for a single traveller! The ports of call were good, but the ship docked too far from ports for most people to walk. The lunches & dinner were mediocre & not up to usual cruise standard, ie there wasn't much choice & it was the same veg every night! Infact I have had better food in a 2 star hotel!!
