Not horrible, but not good; I'll try to be fair.

Sail Date: Dec 2015

This is our third cruise, second on Royal Caribbean. I doubt we will sail with Royal again. We were with our two teenage daughters celebrating Christmas as a family. I will start by saying, that we were NOT miserable. We enjoyed being together and who can complain when you're floating on the ocean in the middle of December? But a few points

1. Service- our cabin steward was amazing. Every other possible part of service was ok. Average. And that is being kind. Our waiter was overworked, handling too many tables, and our bartender at our table sometimes made it there but mostly didn't. The head waiter was detached and cold. It was difficult finding bartenders or people going ut of their way to help or assist. Long lines everywhere; ship was full so I assume this is why.

2. Entertainment: The shows provided by the ship were sub par. I hate to be so negative but the theatre was never full, and sparse nightly because the entertainment was so poor. Also, it was difficult to find things to do in the evening. They cancelled Karaoke two of the nights because according to one of the activities directors: "Karaoke doesn't make the ship any money". One of the cruise directors was negative and disparaging the cruise line privately with my husband and I and admitted she was only on this ship because she "wanted to see europe". Ugh. Just classless and tasteless. Honestly it felt as if this was the cruise ship everyone (employees) at Royal Carribbean goes to die...haha! Or the "demoted" area.
