Here's the thing, I love to cruise. To me, it is the best value for a vacation, and it has always been enjoyable. However, I have never had a more awful experience than I have had on this ship. There were some high points, that I will highlight so that you know that I am not just trashing the entire experience, but know that I will probably never sail with Carnival ever again.

First of all, getting "Faster To The Fun" was an extremely smart decision. Boarding was a breeze and we got our luggage not too long after we got settled in our room. So 5 out of 5 on that. We had an interior room and it was spacious and it fit the bill. No complaints there. Overall, the boarding experience, cabin, and housekeeping team was phenomenal.

The Lido deck, no matter what time of the day or night, was crowded. That was to be expected. However, it did not matter if you were one of the first people there in the morning to grab a chair to sun bathe on, you were still going to have search high and low for a chair. It was almost impossible, and at some points, VERY impossible to grab a space to call your own for an hour or so. Read more
