Lots of great activities like flowrider and rock climbing. Ice rink is wonderful. I wish we'd done it more. Its not open every day due to the unbelievably good ice shows. 20% discount on some wine in the restaurant made it an affordable luxury. Cupcake decorating is terrible so save your money. Kids club OK, but a coloured in picture was the only thing he made. Food was good but we've had better on other cruises. Go for the early tenders, before you need tickets. Guest relations staff were always very pleasant. Hand sanitizers often didn't work. Parades were fun for the kids. I love the Promenade, ie. main street. Overall, lots of good memories.

Cabin Review

Cabin interior

Very quiet cabin close to dining and stairs.

Port Reviews

Mystery Island

Very pretty. We did some snorkelling and hair braiding was only 12 dollars.

Sydney (Australia)

Great sailaway views. Great dock right in the city. Much to see and do.

Noumea

Not much to do. The little train is nice. Probably next time we could try the hop on hop off bus but its exy as there's 5 of us.

Auckland

Nice city. One duty free shop, very overpriced. The skytower has a good view and some transparent flooring is fun. Don't bother going up to the very top level- the normal viewing level is the same and lifts were crowded. Davenport is pretty and mount eden has a good view of the city.

Isle of Pines (New Caledonia)

We paid 20 dollars for transport to piscene naturalle for snorkelling then an extra 15 per person to go in. We only paid 10 each and they were happy. The price is only for cruise ships, any other tourists pay 1 dollar or something! Would have been better off just snorkelling at sacred rock near where the tenders drop you off. We climbed Pic N'Ga, 4 km round trip, great views of the boat and surrounding reefs and islands, but slippery rocks so wear runners. Kids went up no problem. We could've climbed another 20 metres for an even better view so look around at the top for the track.

Bay of Islands

Great markets. We did a morning kayaking tour with 'Bay of Islands Kayak Cruises'. The company (Ruby) was great to deal with before the cruise. The fellas running it are super enthusiastic and friendly. Very knowledgeable too about the area. We went under a small waterfall, lots of fun. Had a short break with yummy muffins. When the kids got tired they went back in the boat while the rest of us paddled back. They took photos and sent them to us. Keep the price the same boys and we'll be back! Great fun!
