I recently went on a Cunard cruise , as I have in the past been on the old QE2 and the new queen Mary . I thought I would try for the queen Victoria too complete all three. I loved the old QE2 although dated and very seventies in style my impression was good. Attention too detail , outstanding food and impeccable service. The queen Mary was a glorious modern nostalgic experience with amazing food and the same attention to detail.

My cabins on the queen Victoria was very nice although the lack of a clock in the room at times proved difficult , we had a spacious balcony and were surprised how quickly are cases arrived too our room. We were on deck eight and we were near the lifts and lido to get tea and coffe quickly using the stairs .

On exploring the ship we came across lots of surprises and the decor was clean crisp and cheerful. With hints of the building towards Christmas in evidence everywhere.

Cabin Review

Balcony

Pleasent , clean and spending time in there good . The pillows were difficult to get organised and the air conditioning unit outflow over the bed unpleasant . They came to alter the flow of cold air and this sorted out the sinus problem my guest had quickly and without a fuss.

The TV in the room was ok and we watched it infrequently as we found plenty too do around the boat.

Port Reviews

Seville

The port was clean , the city clean and pleasent to wonder around safely . Lots to see look at and buy. We loved it everywhere was good .

What a surprise this place was really wonderful , the taxi service was great and the people friendly and helpful . The museum was outstanding with treasures from all ages locally . Modern and either free or 5 euro to get in. Will definitely visit again.

.

Rome (Civitavecchia)

Amazing saw lots listened to a very knowledgable guide and had a great feel for the place sites and soul of Roman ancient and present.

Capri

Naples in the morning terrible but the afternoon in the ruins of huculana made up for it. The guide was good and the monuments spoke for themselves . Sadly the musuim was not open to the public but still work the money.

Gibraltar
