My wife and I worked for the airlines our whole life and thought that we had no reason to take a Cruise - at the prodding of my brother with the kids off somewhere else and the dog dead over Christmas we took this cruise. After reading some of the reviews on this site about the Elation I was worried about my choice. We had the time of our lives - great entertainment - great food - Serenity deck was just FAB. Ports of call were great. The staff are just the hardest working travel professionals you could ask for. I did not have to cook - I did not need a designated driver - music everywhere you wanted or not. Taste bar was fun. Paul the Cruise director was a real pro who knew had to keep everyone smiling.

The ship was full full full but never had to wait in line or wait for service for any time. No problem getting a deck chair - the spa was great.

If you are reading bad reviews about this ship there are just alot of half glass empty people out there. Biggest complaint one day my french toast was cold. For the price I can live with that.

Day at the beach - GREAT CEVECHE - friendly service quiet - snorkling would be great but was too rough that day. Highly recommend

New Orleans
