Sail Date: Dec 2015
Cabin: Balcony Stateroom
Traveled with children

The balcony handicap cabin was not all appropriate for a 90 yr old woman trying to get out of a folded out sofabed. We tried it closed and it was somewhat better, but a bed would be better for a handicap. Also folded out, the wheelchair did not fit into the room past the folded out sofabed. High thresholds made it difficult to pass a wheelchair over. Our room cabinperson was not very good until we had a talk with him. The photoshop picture prices were very comfusing and I saw that many did not purchase when they found out that special pictures taken in the dining room were more expensive than those taken by a photo session.

Last year they were a one price for a certain number, no matter what the size or location. Prices were not given until you selected the pix and went to pay for them. It took 3 days for the dining room to figure out that I had preordered a low salt menu for my mother. I preordered a cake and sparkling drink for my daughters birthday, and that they only had an anniversary cake, no birthday cakes at all. What a disappointment. The kids club, making pizza and frosting a layer cake was added since last year and my 4 yr old granddaughter loved it. She had rehersed to sing at the kids talent show, but was told to sing with a group, to our disappointment.(This was her second Divina cruise).
