We just came back from our cruise on the NCL Star. I would definitely recommend this cruise - we were recovering from health issues (both myself and husband) so we didn't take any excursions and needed to rest. This was my 5th cruise and I was very impressed with both getting on and off the ship - it is very organized!

The last night show was as good as you see in Las Vegas. Every meal was great - it didn't matter if you ate in the special (extra charge) or in the included restaurants. I was very impressed with the size of the bathroom shower (room 10108) - it was so large that I was able to bend over and shave my legs and not have to get out of the shower to shave my legs as I had to do on my last RCI cruise. The toilet area is small but it was minor considering the size of the rest of the cabin. The room steward always had the room tidied up when we left the room - big plus as I hate a messy room and my husband was always making me stop cleaning up by saying the room steward would take care of it and he was right - great job!

I would have liked more activities in the morning but I guess the late night activities kept most of the guests sleeping late. I work and have to get up at 5 AM so it was hard to sleep late or stay up late for the dancing and late night activities. We would get up early and walk the 4 laps around the ship (equals 1 mile) and then work out in the gym for about hour or more. The gym had all of the equipment that my home clubhouse had which is a plus because I didn't have to ask for help in using the equipment.

Cabin Review

Mid-Ship Balcony

Cabin BA

The cabin was the best I've had on a ship! I couldn't believe the size of the shower. I always over-pack and there was enough room for me to put my stuff away. The balcony was on the size needed for two chairs and a table - On a previous cruised I had a balcony in the AFT section so I was spoiled with the size and had lounge chairs and regular chairs.

Tampa

I had picked out excursions but couldn't take them due to a problem with my herniated neck discs and my husband had a broke wrist.
