This boat needs to be docked and COMPLETELY refurbished. My God, what a disappointment. The entire boat shows it's age. But more than just hope dated and crusty the ship is we were disappointment in how boring the entire cruise was! From the moment we entered the ship there was noone there to welcome you! Noone nearby selling drinks (like on Carnival or Norwegian). No staff to direct you to were the Guest Services was located or advising you were you could find maps of the ship. It was a true disappointment from the beginning to the end. The rooms were not ready until 1:30pm so we thought we'd go eat but the buffet (which keeps short hours) was not open until noon. There was already a line out by the pool of people waiting to eat at the buffet. There are NO other food options on the ship expect for the paid Chop's Grill for dinner and the main dining room that apparently is only open for early breakfast (closes at 9:30am) and dinner.

Once the buffet finally did open there we absolutely NO tables available. So we literally had to stand around waiting for a table to empty and race over to it, still dirty, and grab seats. This happened every day for breakfast as well. They do not have enough tables in the buffet. Buffet closes early (like 10am) so don't even think about sleeping in for your vacation or you'll miss breakfast. This shouldn't be a big issue considering there is nothing to do late at night on this ship. We tried the lounge on the 11th deck twice but it was always empty with never more than 2 or 3 guests at the bar drinking.

Guest services rep were ALL consistently rude and never smile. Bar service was descent. Dinner in the MDR was so so. Nothing fab but not as bad as the food in the buffet (which consistently sucked). Our waiter was never personal and always seemed rushed tho he never had more than four tables on a given night so not sure where the fire was.

Cabin Review

Superior Ocean View Stateroom with Balcony

Cabin D1

Rooms bathroom smelled horrible the entire cruise (plumbing problems???). The bed is harder than a brick! And the bed is very low to the floor which bothered us. There was a sofa bed we considered sleeping on instead but it was just as bad. The balcony is extremely rusty and nasty, offered no privacy from the cabins to the left and the right as there is not a wall separating the two entirely from one another. Thin walls. If your neighbor is on their balcony get ready to hear their entire conversation. This room was horrible. I couldn't recommend it.
