After booking our cruise several months ago we were met with some trepidation after reading CC reviews regarding the Norwegian Star. I am happy to say that our cruise was wonderful and that Norwegian, the officers and crew have their act together.

There are abundant taxis at the airport to take you to the ship for a fare of $25 per cab. Sign-in was a breeze. Plenty of food available upon boarding.

The food was excellent in every restaurant we tried; the best of our previous 13 cruises on 5 different cruise lines. Other diners we spoke with expressed similar sentiments. Did not try the buffet. Service was also great with one exception where a longer wait than normal was experienced in Le Bistro. Although we took the opportunity to book all our dinner reservations online prior to departure, we learned all our prebookings were lost.
