My wife and I were in line for boarding the ship for three hours. Reportedly the delay was due to a breach of security. We understand delays due to security issues, however once the offender was arrested, in our opinion Celebrity should have had staff members explaining to passengers what the delay was about and advising when we would be boarding. We were waiting in line with no access to restroom facilities, no information, and seeing the Miami Fire Department responding to passengers in distress. Approximately two hours into the delay water was finally provided.
The delay was long enough for the local news team to arrive, film, and interview passengers.
Celebrity should have a response team to address passenger needs during such extended departure delays.

The secret Sands Beach excursion was excellent. The beach is beautiful and has very nice new restroom facilities.

We took a taxi to the airport to watch planes.
