This was our first cruise and certainly not our last with NCL after spending a week on the Escape from 12/12 -12/19. Like everyone else, I read all of the reviews on CC prior to leaving and honestly I can't see why there is so much negativity - we had the perfect vacation in all aspects. We even put a $1000 down to get $500 shipboard credit towards our next NCL cruise (onboard ship promotion).

We booked a Haven 2 bedroom suite for myself (age 38), wife (34), 3 kids (5, 9, 11) and my mom (59). To our surprise we were very comfortable! I understand we were in the Haven and may have had the typical cruise experience, but since this was out first cruise we wanted to do it right. Now after a week on the Escape in the Haven - we will never do it any differently. Why may you ask? The crowds.. There is 4000 + people on this ship! The Haven is super quiet, the staff is amazing and the food in the Haven restaurant is far and above the best food on the ship. You simply can’t go wrong here.

Considering all that has been said about this ship, its restaurants and service I am going to concentrate my review on the Haven since its where we spent a lot of time outside of doing activities on the ship and I feel there is a lack of information on CC considering the newness of the ship.
