First time cruisers, We are a family of 4 , we brought along our 20 and 17yr old and they had their own cabin.
We flew from Adelaide to Sydney and had pre booked the ship transfers from the airport which is highly recommended as by doing this you get a "Priority Boarding card" and this allows you to jump queues at the embarkation point at the ship.
Our cabin was on level 7 (Verandah ), which was a standard balcony room , room service excellent, we paid our room man $20 on the first day as this was recommended by friends and he looked after us like royalty after that. We loved our balcony as in the evening before dinner we sat out there with a bottle of wine and it was peaceful and quiet. We had just a standard balcony but found this adequate
Loved the cabin, was cleaned daily and our room service people were delightful. We loved having a balcony even if it was small, but was roomy enough to sit out there with a bottle of wine in the late afternoon before dinner.
Lovely clean island with welcoming locals, snorkeling great on this island and very safe as there is a reef to keep the big fish out.
Busy island , aquarium was awesome, Duck island was hot but ok, service was poor on Duck Island as they were so busy and didn't have the right ammount of staff on.
So relaxing, locals very nice and inviting.
Lucky enough to find awesome taxi driver who became our tour guide, we saw so much through him and he waited for us at every stop. Very memorable port.
