This was our 11th river cruise, and our 6th with AMA Waterways. We have also cruised once with Uniworld and four times with Avalon. Hands down this experience on AmaSerena was the best yet and sets the bar high for future river cruises.

We started our holiday with an overnight stay in London, enjoying the theater and dinner, and then flew to Berlin for three days. It was a fabulous beginning to a wonderful trip.

As a perk of the AMA loyalty program, we were met at the Basel airport for our private transfer to the ship. It was early in the morning and two gentlemen were there when we exited baggage claim with a sign for the AmaSerena. We were quickly whisked off and arrived at the ship within 30 minutes. Painless.
