We have been on 7 cruises in the last 3 years but this was our first Norwegian, so we went in with an open mind.
Let me start by saying any cruise vacation can be as good or bad as you make it. This is the oldest ship in the fleet but she was beautiful. We had a wonderful time and were sad to leave as the 7 days flew by!
On embarkation we arrived at Port Orlando to terminal 1 which appeared to be brand new. We dropped our luggage and parked in the garage (120 pay when you arrive). We were through security and had our room key/charge cards within 15 minutes of parking the car..one of the most efficient processes ive ever seen....but we then realized that there was an inspection of the ship going on and they hadn't begun boarding (it was approximately 11am at this time). Once the boarding process finally began around 12 we had to wait our turn behind all of the priority boarding groups (we get it, if I earn points one day I expect the priority boarding too). We were on board by 1230pm.
Our cabin was average size. The bathroom was larger than ive seen with separate sliding doors separating the sink area from the toilet and shower areas. The shower was larger than average but the toilet area seemed smaller. We had a king bed up against the window, a half sofa, and a desk and a chair. Closet, drawer and safe space was average.
