For those of you who are expecting the typical horrible review for the Carnival Conquest, you are not going to find it here. If the ship is so bad, why was our cruise sold out?

It’s up to you to make the best of your cruise vacation, and the Carnival Conquest exceeded our expectations due to its Cruise Director, Eric Brouman, its service by the crew, and the destinations on this trip which were Key West, Grand Cayman, and Cozumel. Here are a few cruise surprises/suggestions which I will detail below.

Cabin Review

Interior

Cabin 4E

We had cabin 8440, aft section port side, directly under Lido buffett. Only issue in cabin was temperature as with the A/C on high, never really seemed cool enough. And since it was directly under the buffet, there was one evening with a constant shaking noise that kept us up, but only that one evening out of 6. We did miss the free toiletries that Carnival used to put in the bathroom cabin, and we miss the nightly chocolate on the pillow at night. And seriously, can they put more than one plug in the entire cabin to use! Cabin Steward service was wonderful as always.
