This was cruise number 9 for my family and I (Five of us, ages 16-50) (1 Disney, 4 Carnival, and 4 RCCL). We were a bit disappointed with RCCL and probably won't be back. The last four years we have gone with carnival simply because 1. They are cheaper and 2. We like their ports of call better - more exotic than the regular western and eastern cruises to the same places. All the times on Carnival, we felt RCCL was better (food, service, etc), but we found out this trip A LOT has changed in the past five years and that does not hold true any longer.

We flew into Orlando a day early and rented a car with Budget from the airport. Budget has a small office very close to the port. We returned the vehicle there and they had a free shuttle to take you to the port that left every half hour starting at 8am.

Embarkation went very smooth, but since we've sailed with RC previously and were gold members, we had our own line. Altogether, embarkation probably took us a half hour and we were on the ship.

Cabin Review

Family Interior Stateroom

Cabin FI

My parents and brother stayed in the family promenade interior stateroom. It was HUGE. It fits six people. There was A LOT of closet room for them. Their only complaint was that the bathroom smelled a bit. Surprisingly, the room was quiet despite music being played constantly. I would recommend this room!

Port Reviews

Labadee

Ziplining was a lot of fun. Took about an hour and a half total.

Falmouth

Contact Patrice Bailey for a private tour. I recommend visiting Doctor's Cave if you're a beach person like me!

Grand Cayman (Georgetown)

Always a nice port. Seven Mile Beach is beautiful. Nice shopping in port as well.

Cozumel

Always a nice port, as well. Taxis are readily available coming and going to the port. There is also some shopping in the port with a lot of local, handmade items.

Port Canaveral (Orlando)

The port is nice. Not a lot of traffic compared to Miami.
