Sail Date: Dec 2015
Cabin: Panoramic Oceanview Stateroom
Promenade, shopping
Tunnel Beach Dunedin we hired a car to go here

The ship was excellent. Our room was awesome, we had the panorama room at the very front of the ship on deck 12. This allowed us to see everything as we entered the ports. Food was excellent, staff so helpful and the hygiene practices were excellent! Seas were smooth. The entertainment was excellent, flo rider and ice skating being a real hit! The ice skating show was unbelievable, much better than I imagined. The talent and costumes were amazing.

This was an awesome cruise, our 4th cruise and each time we try and choose a slightly bigger ship. We spend a lot of time on the Promenade, I feel though there should have been another deck like this that allowed more "walking around inside" space.

We travelled to NZ and the ports were all excellent. Only thing is the Bay of Islands had tender only and by the time we were able to go on a tender it only left us approx 1 hour to explore the Island.

Cabin Review

Panoramic Oceanview Stateroom

Cabin P2

AMAZING cabin! Best view ever! I guess being the front of the ship if you suffered sea sickness probably not the best cabin. We felt the motion of the ocean, however the seas were calm for almost all the trip so it wasn't too bad. I loved this room as we had a stunning view of the sounds in NZ from inside our warm cabin as outside was rather and windy.

Port Reviews

Auckland

We did a hop on hop off bus, it was excellent and we managed to see lots.

Sydney (Australia)

Sydney is awesome!! So much to do and see, such a beautiful city.

Tauranga

Loved this port, we did a walk around the huge hill, took about 45mins. The local volunteers at this port a very friendly and helpful and guided us to the best things to do on foot. This little beach side down is beautiful, we didn't even bother to go into the larger city. Enough to do at this port on foot.

Wellington

We spend the day walking around this beautiful city and doing the cable car. Enough to do here in a day, Wellington is beautiful. Love this city!

Picton

Nice port, not a lot to do here, next time we will either do an excursion or hire a car.

Dunedin

Love this place. We hired a car and managed to drive out to sea wild seals and a few penguins. Beautiful drive. we drove to Tunnel Beach and walked down to the bottom. Probably one of the nices places on the whole cruise besides cruising through the sounds. It's a down hill walk all the way to the bottom so make sure you are fit and well enough to walk back up.
