We booked to go on the cruise to surprise our 90 year old mother who thought she was doing her last cruise. We opted to upgrade to a mini suite and were upgraded to a suite. This seemed to be going well till we boarded. On arriving in our suite we found there was a vibration from through the floor. It felt like an out of balance motor - but we were docked.

We purchased 2 drinks packages to save mucking about but when we ordered drinks in the dining rooms they had to write out a docket for everyone who wanted a drink and record their card number and the drink and then sign for it. Obviously this was time consuming and annoying because every time you wanted a drink you had to get your card out again and sign again. The accompanying food was ordinary and one of their specialties at lunch was a burger. We got two and the cheese was not warm or melted and the burger was only warm.

We shut up and ate up and left - hoping we wouldn't get food poisoning - we didn't.

Premium Suite with Balcony

Cabin S5

Staff would have found cutlery and other items jammed between panels that creeked and groaned when rubbing against each other. Noisy when trying to sleep.
