This was our fourth Sea Princess and was the worst, 35 Million Dollar refurb was excellent more room in the buffet and much cleaner , food was pretty good as always but no so in the dining room. Curtis Stone should be kept away from ship's menus, the variety was not there like in the past where there were theme nights in the dining room and the food was much better , service was excellent though, bar service was good but no Queensland beer on board even though it goes from Brisbane often.
The money changers did not turn up so PNG lost a great deal of trade because most did not like AUD. No gratruity on bar service but prices increased, never saw the captain walking about, only over the loud speaker at midday, Captain Bill Kent was always about talking to people. The shows were the same ones we had seen on previous trips, but gone were the dancing and singing shows of old, same old jokes from a couple of tired comics and some cowboy trying to sing in the lounge. ( Shocking) , might have to think another cruise line for more variety.
