This was my sixth cruise, but first NCL Freestyle. My wife and I are in our mid-forties, traveling alone. Age-wise, we felt right in the middle, with couples from their 20's through 70's. I estimate 100-150 kids ages 0-18 on this 2/7/09 sailing. It was definitely a couples cruise, some multi-generational families, and a few noticeable groups. My general impression is that most people were friendly and easy going, not too much whining or overbearing behavior. (Anyone wearing a tee shirt from their favorite Big Ten university would have fit right in.)

Smoothest embarkation I can recall. Arrived at port at 12:30, and were sipping champagne by 1:00. Checked in carry-ons at Dazzles - smooth and easy. Two twelve packs of pop with luggage stickers were delivered to our room. All luggage received by about 3:30pm, including my laptop. (Next time I'll carry it on.)

Mid-Ship Mini-Suite with Balcony

Cabin MA

Cabin 11116, handicapped mini suite. (We were assigned this via a Guarantee AG booking.) Extremely spacious, as it is nearly double-sized to accomodate wheelchairs. Double-sized balcony, with two sets of floor to ceiling sliding glass doors. More than enough storage for two people. No bathtub in this mini. The Deck 11 location mid-ship near elevators was sensational - we barely felt like we had to walk anywhere. Very little noise from hallways or above.
