OK - We got this cruise package at a fantastic price, (one night in Fort Lauderdale Marina Hilton/Manchester Direct Flights and 8 nights cruising), but having read the reviews on line AFTER we had booked I was thinking OH DEAR.....what have I done.

DO NOT WORRY!!

I have to say that compared to a Med Cruise this ship was absolutely fantastic (and huge)

Cabin Review

Balcony

Cabin 8D

Really big with a sofa (bed?), king size bed (which I think was two large singles pushed together) and the room as big as say a Premier Inn room with very a generous sized bathroom with walk in shower. The balcony was a decent size with a small table and two chairs, but didn't sit out as the days were short of daylight but good for having a look out/docking.

Port Reviews

St. Maarten

Our driver DJ was very good and informative with a stay of 1.5 hours at a very nice beach, a tour of both French & Dutch sides, and free drinks.

St. Kitts (Port Zante)

Bartered with the swarm (and pushy/aggressive) taxi drivers in the cruise terminal and ended up sharing a minibus with others to a nice beach.

San Juan

Just stepped off the boat and had a walk round the old city and forts. Maybe only took 2 hours. We didn't bother venturing too far as not much to do (that we could see), but is was also raining heavily. By the time we got back on the ship the sun had come out and just lounged around for the rest of the day.

Grand Turk

Nothing to do here but enjoy the lovely beach and Margaretville (??).

The beach was lovely with the ship as a backdrop, but boy, was it crowded.
