Sail Date: Dec 2015
Cabin: Deluxe Ocean View Stateroom with Balcony

My husband and I have sailed RCL many times and have found it to be one of the best cruise lines but this ship is very much outdated. We both felt it either needs major renovation or retiring. We found peeling paint in the stateroom bathroom and in many of the public areas. The bathroom had an unpleasant smell and the toilet was gray with stains. We ordered room service one day- a fruit plate- and the grapes arrived with visible mold! Furry! We had a balcony room and the door to the deck was extremely difficult to open until maintenance came to fix it. The activities were the standard RCL fare, something for everybody, the shows were good, and excursions adequate. The dining was good and of course the staff was the best thing on the ship, ready to meet your every need. I must say, I feel RCL has cut back with the offerings on dining and it was not the same amazing food we have remembered from past cruises we have taken, and we truly missed the chocolate night. Pros: Entertainment and staff. Cons: rundown, decline in food services.

Cabin Review

Deluxe Ocean View Stateroom with Balcony

The stateroom was small but with a comfortable bed. The bathroom was very funky with an odor and stained toilet... I do not think this was being unclean. It appeared spotless. Balcony door difficult to open, even for an adult male.
