This was our fourth cruise on the Crown Princess this year 2015, and what a disappointment it was. We were disappointed with the staff. The cabin, had several Chinese papers in it. A set of 3 pound bar bells under the bed, and something spilled on the nightstands (coffee or tea). We had to clean up our own room, got out the wipes and went to work. Disinfected the bathroom too. Great way to start a cruise.

Where were limited activities on the ship and most of seminars were to get you to purchase a service, spa, hair, art. We had fixed dinning and while the table was great, the food was not. We ate there once. We ate two nights at the Crown Grill, the first was good and service was nice. Second time two days later, the food was interested. Half cooked fish was serviced and service was so slow, that we didn't send it back. Oh, the Grill was less crowded this night. We ate a Salty Dogs- and I won't give that a comment, other than to say, for the price the quality was bad. The Italian Restaurant had a lovely view and again the food was just okay, service was better though. One night we ate at the Lido, it was very crowded, but most food was okay.

We took a trip to a mountain village, lovely ride though the countryside, food was excellent, the little town was cute, the coffee plantation only had two plants. Mazatlán we followed the blue line in to the centre. There were guides in blue shirt along the way to answer any questions, nice touch. We went to the opera house and the church. Also visited the market place, and walked down Constitution to the boardwalk. Walked along the olas alass to golden zone a good distance passing the cliff divers and the fish restaurants along the beach front.

Cabin Review

Interior

The cabin, had paper and junk from the pervious cruises left in it. We had to wipe down tops and empty out ourselves.

Port Reviews

Puerto Vallarta

The food was the best of the cruise. The town was cute, the ride out there thru the countryside was interesting. The coffee plantation was two bushes, the tequila factory was at a small outside area, just okay.

Mazatlan

Loved this city, did a self guided walking tour of the city centre, along the beach to the golden zone. Was a long, but lovely walk

Cabo San Lucas

Enjoyed our self guided walking tour up into the upper part of Cabo.
