We have cruised 12 times on Carnival and are Platinum members. I get very tired of reading negative reviews from people who have nothing better to do than complain about everything. Prior to this trip was no exception. We found the Conquest to be in excellent condition. The staff was excellent, the food was excellent. Everything went very smooth. The Cruise Director Eric "the voice from above" was a bit goofy but once you have had John Heald as a CD most others just don't measure up.

Our main dining room experience was one of the best we have had. Great service and excellent food. Our cabin was on deck 10, inside, #1049. It was very quiet and in a great location close to the pool decks and the Lido buffets. The entertainment was good. We didn't do any shore excursions with the line but we rarely do anyway. I certainly can recommend this ship as an experienced cruiser.

Port Reviews

Key West

It is an interesting town. We have been there before so we just walked around and did some sightseeing

Cozumel

We like Cozumel. We took a cab to Chakanab, $6 USD/PP each way. There is a $21/pp admission fee. You get access to a nice beach area with covered chairs, good snorkeling, sea lion show, change rooms, showers etc for the basic fee. If you want to swim with the dolphins there is an extra charge. It is a great way to spend a day.
